Here at climateg8 we aspire to see real change in our environment. Aware of the rise in the use of tote bags and the lack of understanding in what climate change really means we created this site. The health of our Earth is rapidly declining and contrary to popular belief a cotton tote bag will not change that. The war on climate change has translated into the war against single use plastic. And while plastic is harmful to the environment, tote bags are not the magic solution. Tote bags come with a risk of unadvertised factors such as their depletion of our resources. Producing the cotton required for a tote bag requires a large amount of water. There are many other alternatives that serve better at being eco friendly but not all have been accessible. This is the focus of our site. We want to provide people who are passionate about their environment with the “sheltered” alternatives to their tote bags. We also reach out to investors so that these products can gain traction.
